Composers Desktop Project Release 6.0 comprises a large number of programs, each one of which can be accessed individually from any of the available working environments.

The main additions in Release 6 provide comprehensive facilities for composing in a multi-channel context. Prices overall have been reduced for Release 6 in view of online delivery (via YouSendIt).

Please use this page for ordering new CDP Systems, the Student Special Discount (see below), a printed copy of the Desk Reference, and CDP Multi-User Site Licences.

When upgrading, please use our Upgrades tab and enter your CDP user code. Except when the Student Special Discount applies, staff, students and the institution itself, are given a 10% discount. Please apply to CDP (archerhgm(at)talktalk.net) for a 10% discount voucher code. Voucher codes are entered towards the end of the ordering procedure.

Please note that the price shown here for the Student Special Discount is the full price. Your Special Student Discount voucher code will reduce it to £42.

All CDP Systems for PC come with Soundshaper Lite (replaces 'Standard Edition'). It has very limited functionality for Release 6 (e.g., it does not handle the new multi-channel programs). If you require the full version, Soundshaper Pro, please order it on the OPTIONS page.

Until download of the CDP software is in place, Release 6 Systems will continue to be sent out on data CDs via snail mail. Postage is charged, but the other extra costs involved are absorbed by CDP, as these new Web prices are based on the availability of a download facility.

The cost of Multi-User Site Licences now includes the current CDP System software (previously the software was an additional cost). Additional workstations can be ordered in groups of 5 without the software: +5 for £52, +10 for £95, +15 for £132 and +20 for £165. These will be separately invoiced. Please contact CDP to order other configurations or groups of additional workstations. The 10% discount applies, so don't forget to apply for your education voucher code.

The PDF files for the CDP Desk Reference are contained in the 'DeskReference' folder. Printed and wire-bound copies may also be ordered from CDP, as below, as can the software on CD-ROM. Please ensure that the address for delivery is clearly indicated. Postage is extra.

Returns Policy
Any parcel containing CDP software may be returned unopened for a full refund. If the parcel has been opened, but the software has been found not to be suitable for your requirements, please contact CDP about a return. A written guarantee that the software has been removed from your computer(s) will be required. In this case, the return and amount of refund will be up to the discretion of CDP.

Privacy Policy
CDP holds only a minimal amount of information about owners of CDP software, to assist with user support. It is exclusively for internal CDP user and is never shared with 3rd parties.

Education Discount
A 10% discount is available for educational institutions, lecturers and students. This discount also applies to Multi-user licences. Please apply by email to CDP (archerhgm(at)talktalk.net) for a discount voucher code. Then enter this voucher code on the Shopping Cart page and click on Recalculate. Students at educational institutions with a 5 or more CDP Multi-User Site Licence may qualify for the Special Student Discount. See Licensing for more information.
