Composers Desktop Project 5.0 comprises a large number of programs, each one of which can be accessed individually from any of the available working environments.

To optimise flexbility and enable, by making the output of one process the input to another, the creation of infinitely varied sequences of sound transformation processing operations.

Herein lies the real power of the system. Advanced users build libraries of such sequences, using either batch files on the Command Line, or the Instrument building facilities of Sound Loom.

Soundshaper and the other Windows GUI programs are of course not directly available on the Mac. However, We have many reports of CDP users successfully using the Windows programs on the Intel Mac using Parallels Desktop etc., and no reports of problems.

The core CDP sound transformation software runs on the PC under Windows, including XP and Vista, and on the Apple Mac (both Intel and PPC) running Tiger and Leopard. (We no longer support Jaguar and Panther.)

Returns Policy
Any parcel containing CDP software may be returned unopened for a full refund. If the parcel has been opened, but the software has been found not to be suitable for your requirements, please contact CDP about a return. A written guarantee that the software has been removed from your computer(s) will be required. In this case, the return and amount of refund will be up to the discretion of CDP.

Privacy Policy
CDP holds only a minimal amount of information about owners of CDP software, to assist with user support. It is exclusively for internal CDP user and is never shared with 3rd parties.

Education Discount
A 10% discount is available for educational institutions, lecturers and students. This discount also applies to Multi-user licences. Please apply by email to CDP (archerhgm(at)talktalk.net) for a discount voucher code. Then enter this voucher code on the Shopping Cart page and click on Recalculate. Students at educational institutions with a CDP 5 or more Multi-user licence may qualify for the Special Student Discount. See the Licensing tab for more information.
