To optimise flexbility and enable, by making the output of one process the input to another, the creation of infinitely varied sequences of sound transformation processing operations.
Herein lies the real power of the system. Advanced users build libraries of such sequences, using either batch files on the Command Line, or the Instrument building facilities of Sound Loom. (Soundshaper is, unfortunately, not available on the MAC.)
The files for a Desktop Reference Manual is provided with new CDP systems in Word for Windows (PC) or PDF format (Mac). This lists all program groups, functions and modes. Please also note that the MAC OS X version includes the Sound Loom GUI.
